With the approval of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam in Official Document No. 4771-CV/VPTW dated September 13, 2022, the Academy of Politics Region II has coordinated with the Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts Global (AVSE Global) organizes Vietnam Symposium on Leadership and Public Policy VSLP-2022 with the topic “Beyond Covid-19: Recovering with Public Governance from the Pandemic” taking place on 03-04 November 2022.

The conference had the participation of nearly 150 delegates, including 12 delegates who are foreign scholars and researchers from countries and regions such as the United States, France, Korea, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong (China)... The conference was honored to invite keynote speakers Stéphane Saussier - Professor of Economics, Paris I Panthéon University - Sorbonne, France and Bert George - Associate Professor, Department of Public and International Relations, City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China. The conference included a plenary session and nine parallel sessions with more than 30 presentations by domestic and foreign scholars. Scholars together discuss, exchange, and share theoretical issues, as well as deeply analyze experiences and governance models of countries on a series of important and urgent issues in leadership, public policy such as anti-corruption, public administration, economic recovery policies after COVID-19 pandemic, leadership, change and public management; government investment; policy implementation and evaluation, etc. This is a useful reference source for Vietnamese policymakers in the innovation process.
